DENTAL – Air for every application
|Dental Practices and Clinics|
Modern dental treatment methods and filling materials require that treatment units in a dental surgery or clinic are connected to a compressed air network which supplies dried and filtered compressed air.
All necessary air treatment components are already integrated within each KAESER Dental compressor.
|Dental Clinics for Implant Dentistry and Oral Surgery |
Compressed air for implant dentistry and oral surgery clinics must also pass through a sterile filter. To avoid contamination of the air in the distribution pipes, the filters are installed as close to the treatment units as possible, which also makes maintenance and daily sterilisation tasks much simpler.
To remove hydrocarbons from the ambient air, an active charcoal filter installed upstream from the sterile filter is recommended.
Compressed air quality is playing an increasingly important role in dental laboratories. The adhesive properties of composite materials remain unaffected only if clean, dry compressed air is used. Furthermore, modern CAD/CAM systems require large volumes of very high quality compressed air.
